Ticks, Fleas and Lice

Cause:
Animal parasites

Symptoms:
Some hair loss with lice, animal discomfort, and itching

Treatment:
Spray or dust affected rabbits with a treatment for controlling ticks, fleas and lice. Every 3 to 5 days the treatment should be repeated until the symptoms disappear.


By the naked eye, ticks and lice can readily be detected. To help with eradication, the hutches should be disinfected to destroy the eggs and larvae. As another precaution keep other animals out of your rabbitry.
